Prices and extras

We want you to experience the joy of a motorhome holiday. That’s why we have made sure that our prices are competitive and affordable. So whether you’re thinking of travelling round the beautiful coast of Ireland for a week, or planning a long weekend break to the highlands of Scotland, renting our luxurious Chausson C656 isn’t going to cost you a fortune.

LOW SEASON (October - March)

£150 per night (minimum of 2 nights booking)*

HIGH SEASON (April - September)

£195 per night (minimum of 2 nights booking; 5 NIGHTS booking in July and August)*

*Minimum of 3 nights booking on bank holiday weekends both high and low season.

**We reserve the right to change the daily fee during key sporting events, other events or promotions.

***A 25% non-refundable deposit is required on booking. The balance can be paid closer to the time, but no later than 4 weeks prior to pick up date.

***A refundable security deposit of £1000 is required prior to pick up for all bookings. This is the insurance excess and will be refunded to you upon safe return of the motorhome, assuming all of the contents are still in place, and the vehicle is brought back clean and undamaged.

What’s included in the price?

At Rent a Motorhome NI, our basic price includes everything you need to hit the road and start your motorhome holiday adventure. The following is included as standard:

  • Rental of our luxurious Chausson C656

  • Welcome basket of treats and goodies

  • 2 x Solar panels generating 200W of power for that ultimate off-grid, wild camping experience

  • 2 x HD rear facing and reversing cameras

  • Front and rear parking sensors

  • Global tracking system

  • Full tank of diesel on pickup (full-to-full policy)

  • All the cables, hoses and accessories you will need - electric hook up cable including 3-pin UK plug adapter, water fill-up hose, Hozelock tap connectors, levelling ramps and a spirit level

  • 2 x LPG gas bottles (one used and one full)

  • A first aid kit, smoke alarm, CO alarm, fire extinguisher and fire blanket

  • 22” Full HD TV with integrated DVD player (free-to-air channels depends on location and strength of aerial signal)

  • Board games for all the family to enjoy

  • A small library of popular books to read and DVD’s to watch

  • Several USB charging points and a wireless QI charging point for smartphones

  • A fully equipped and kitted out kitchen with cooking utensils, crockery, glasses, cutlery, saucepans, a frying pan and a gas kettle

  • An electric kettle and electric toaster (note: electric appliances/240V 3-pin UK plugs can only be used on electric hook-up)

  • Supply of tea bags and coffee, fresh milk and sugar

  • All of the cleaning essentials you will need such as toilet chemical, washing up liquid, hand soap, cloths, multi-surface cleaner

  • Supply of toilet roll x 4

  • Bin bags and a dustpan and brush

  • Mattress protectors (which must be used at all times)

  • Comprehensive handover videos and instructional handbook of how to use the main features of our Chausson C656

  • Unlimited mileage

  • UK fully comprehensive insurance for one driver

  • Breakdown cover and roadside assistance

  • Habitation and gas safety check certification

  • Spare wheel (not a tire repair kit), 5 ton jack and tools

  • Out-of-hours support

  • Parking for your car on our private driveway

At Rent a Motorhome NI, we want you to have the extra-special, home-from-home experience. We have compiled a list of optional extra packages that you may be interested in adding to your booking. You can add any of these throughout the booking process.

  • Bedding (duvet, bed sheet and pillow) and one towel for everyone in your booking.

  • Not good with directions? Why not rent our Garmin sat nav? This would be a great choice if you don’t want to use up all of your phone data on sat nav directions.

  • Not planning on going to a campsite, but still need to use a UK 3 pin plug? Maybe you will need to bring your laptop with to connect in with work while you’re away? If you don’t intend to go to a campsite with electric hook-up, then this may be what you need. This 240V Inverter uses the 12V cigarette lighter to convert to 240V power which will allow you to power your laptop, tablet or other device with a UK plug.

    Please note: this is a 300W inverter. It MUST NOT be used to power high wattage devices such as kettles, toasters, hairdryers or other larger appliances. It is really only suited to smaller wattage devices such as powering a laptop, tablet or our PS4.

  • Want to head off on your motorhome adventure earlier? Why not consider an early pick up time? This will be charged at a rate of £10 per hour early. Normal collection time is from 1pm - 2pm.

  • Fancy making the most of the final day of your holiday? Want to stretch it out as long as you can? Why not book a late drop off time? Rates are charged at £10 per additional hour. Normal drop off time is from 12pm - 1pm.

  • Travelling with small children? We’ve got you covered. We can provide car seats and boosters seats, as well as a travel cot.

  • Fancy some al fresco dining? Even though our motorhome has a wonderful dining area, sometimes it’s nice to sit outside and dine in the sunshine. This package will give you a fold up table and a set of camping chairs that can be used outside for dining, sitting by a camp fire or even brought to the beach.

  • Our basic hire rate comes with fully comprehensive insurance for one driver. However, maybe you don’t fancy driving for the whole duration of your holiday? Why not add a second driver, for a small additional fee?

  • Intending to travel into Europe? Travelling into Europe (excluding the Republic of Ireland) will incur an additional charge of £100. This is to cover the European roadside assistance cost. If you intend to visit Europe, you MUST choose this as an optional extra.

    The following countries are covered by the European Travel Insurance:

    Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland (including Liechtenstein), Sweden.

  • Coming to Northern Ireland by plane? We offer an airport collection and drop off service to either Belfast International Airport or Belfast City Airport. Simply tell us the airport you would like to collect the motorhome from and we will meet you there. Then, after you have finished your holiday, we will meet you at your chosen airport to return the vehicle to us.

  • Coming to Ireland by plane? We offer an airport collection and drop off service to Dublin Airport. We will meet you there with the motorhome and send you off on your adventure. Then, after you have finished your holiday, we will meet you back at the airport to return the vehicle to us.
